Shao Qi (born July 10, 2001 ) is a Chinese freestyle skier . She specializes in the aerials (jumping) discipline.

biography

Shao started internationally for the first time at the Junior World Championships 2016 in Minsk and finished 11th. She made her debut in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in December 2016 in Beida Lake , which she finished in 19th place. At the Junior World Championships 2017 in Chiesa in Valmalenco she won bronze and at the Junior World Championships 2018 in Minsk she won the silver. In the 2018/19 season she was among the top ten in all four World Cup competitions. With third place in Minsk and second place in Lake Placid, she achieved her first podium positions and at the end of the season fifth place in the Aerials World Cup. At the season highlight, the 2019 World Championships in Park City , she jumped to tenth place.
