The circle Shaodong ( 邵东县 , Shaodong Xiàn ) is a circle in the Chinese province of Hunan . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Shaoyang (邵阳市). Shaodong County has an area of ​​1,776 km² and around 1.18 million inhabitants. Its main town is the Liangshi (两 市镇) community.
