Zany

Zany ( English : clown ) (born May 11, 1974 in Veldhoven ; actually Raoul Van Grinsven ) is a Dutch DJ and music producer .

Career

Van Grinsven's preferred style is hardstyle . His productions with the Shadowland Terrorists , of which he was a member until 1999, are an exception . Here he mainly produces hardcore techno . Van Grinsven mostly plays hardcore techno live. He is under contract with the record label Fusion Records and is its best-known representative.

Van Grinsven is also known by other names:

  • Solo: Chicano, Copycat, DJ Alpha-bet, Orin-co, Pale-X, Raine en Raoul Luciano.
  • together with other DJs: 040, Boomboys, Camilia, Cenoginerz, Club Robbers, Donkey Rollers, Mos Phat, Project Deviate, Punk Brozz, Revolution Team, Sampleboxxx, Shadowlands Terrorists, Southstylers, Virus, Zini & Kantini.

He has had more than 300 appearances so far, mainly in the Netherlands and Belgium . The highlights were: Qlimax , Sensation Black , Qrimetime, Hardbass, Mystery Land , Defqon.1 , Decibel Outdoor .
