Zatox (born: Gerardo Roschini , * 17th November 1975 in Tivoli ) is an Italian Hardstyle - DJ and producer .

Career

His career began in the late 1990s when he stepped out of the music style of the time to shape his own music. He has produced under names like Supaboyz , Smashing Guys , Ironblood and Machinehead .

Over the years Roschini became more and more popular in hardstyle circles and thus also more successful. His style, also known as Italian Hardstyle , combines hardstyle with classical music, which also made fans from other genres aware of him. So he was booked by event organizers like Q-Dance , Bassevents and b2s to bring his music live to the fans. So he played on gigs like Defqon.1 , Qlimax , Q-Base , Hard Bass, Decibel Outdoor and InQontrol.

Roschini founded the music label Italian Hardstyle in 2010 . At the beginning of 2013 he presented his second label, Unite Records . Members of this label are:

Zatox is known for its dark sounds that shift between dark atmosphere, light, classical and Italian strings.

He is one of the few who share a hardstyle bass drum with 2 distortions.
