Sharmila Jan Nona (born February 3, 1999 ) is a Sri Lankan athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Sharmila Jan Nona gained her first international experience in 2016 at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 100-meter run with 12.62 seconds. In 2019, she finished fourth at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu with 24.37 seconds in the 200-meter run .

In 2019 Jan Nona became Sri Lankan champion in the 200-meter run .
