Shayang
Shayang ( Chinese 沙洋 县 , Pinyin Shāyáng Xiàn ) is a district in the Chinese province of Hubei , which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Jingmen . It has an area of 2,044 km² and has a population of 600,000. Its main town is the large community of Shayang (沙洋 镇).
The Chu Tombs of Jishan (Jishan Chu muqun 纪 山 楚墓 群) and the Majiayuan site (Majiayuan yizhi 马 家 垸 遗址) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 and 2006 respectively .
