As Schaila (or Shayla ) is called a Muslim head covering, worn by women.

It is usually a black mask in the form of a hijab , similar to a half niqab , but with part of the face remaining visible. The shaila is traditionally worn by some women in Saudi Arabia and other Arab states in the Persian Gulf .
