Zuarungu has a relatively large generalized marketplace located relatively east on DVLA Road. This is called Tu'an, which means something like baobab tree . This is because the Zuarungu Market used to be around a baobab tree.

In addition to this market, there is also a timber market. This is located directly north of the N11 at Yarigabisi. There you can buy all kinds of wood and also some groceries.

In addition to these two large markets, there are a few small general markets:

Zonno-Zori (locally also Zonzori) is a range of hills east of Zuarungu near the communities of Zonno and Nyorkoko. It comprised four main hills and a few small foothills. None of these hills are named. The maximum height of the ridge is 348 meters above sea level. Zori is Frafra and can be translated as mountain or mountain range.

Every year at the beginning of the rainy season (October / November), the grass in Zonzori burns down completely. This happens either by arson or by sparking from stones moved by the wind.
