Shen Rong
Shen Rong ( Chinese 谌 容 , Pinyin Chén Róng , * 1936 in Wushan County , Sichuan Province ) is a Chinese writer.
Life
Shen Rong was born to a teacher and a Supreme Court judge. She worked as a journalist in Chongqing from 1952 . In 1954 she began to study Russian in Beijing . After completing her studies, she worked as a translator for the radio. During the Cultural Revolution she was sent to the country for probation from 1969 to 1973 .
She wrote dramas in the mid-1960s. Novels and short stories followed.
