Shenphen Nangwa ( Tib. Gzhan phan snang ba ; * 1871 ; † 1927 ) or Khenpo Shenga ( mkhan po gzhan dga ' ) was a prominent scholar of the Nyingma and Sakya traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. He was a student of Patrul Rinpoche .
He was the author of famous Comments on Thirteen Indian classical Buddhist texts ( gzhung chen bcu gsum ), the Thirteen Great comments that an integral part of Shedra - curriculum of the Nyingma -, Kagyu and - Sakya form -Schulen.
One of his places of activity was the monastic college Shri Singha of the Dzogchen monastery .
