The Sheppard Nunatak is an approximately 60  m (according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee 200  m ) high nunatak at the northeast end of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises north of Sheppard Point on the north side of the entrance to Hope Bay .

Participants in the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) led by Otto Nordenskjöld were the first to explore this area. Scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1945 and named it after the name of Sheppard Point. Its namesake is Robert Carl Sheppard (1897–1954), head of the scientific station of the survey in Hope Bay.
