Sherbourne (Toronto Subway)

Sherbourne is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor-Danforth Line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Bloor Street and Sherbourne Street. The station, which has side platforms, is used by an average of 25,730 passengers every day (2015).

The station opened on February 26, 1966, along with the Keele - Woodbine section . There is a possibility to change to a bus line. Immediately east of Sherbourne the route describes an S-curve. It crosses the gorge of Castle Frank Brook (also called Rosedale Ravine) on a bridge , then passes a short tunnel at Castle Frank station before crossing the Don River on the Prince Edward Viaduct .
