Sherry Calvert
Sherry Lynn Calvert (born June 6, 1951 in Los Angeles ) is a former American javelin thrower .
In 1971 she won silver at the Pan American Games in Cali . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was eliminated from qualification.
In 1975 she won the Pan American Games in Mexico City . At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she did not get beyond the preliminary round again.
She was US champion four times (1970–1972, 1978).
Her personal best of 63.38 m she set on July 7, 1978 in Berkeley .
