The Shewry Peak , a 1,065 m (according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1050 m ) high mountain on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the end of a rocky ridge that extends north from Mount William .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys in 1954 and surveys and taking aerial photographs in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain in 1957 after Arthur Lucien Shrewry (1923 – unknown), who worked in 1955 as an assistant for the survey at the Arthur Harbor station .
