The Arthur Harbor is a small bay on the southwest coast of Anvers Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located there between Bonaparte Point and Norsel Point .
During the fourth French Antarctic expedition of the polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot , a rough mapping was carried out. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out a survey in 1955 and set up a surveying station near the head of the bay. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1956 after Oswald Raynor Arthur (1905–1973), Governor of the Falkland Islands from 1954 to 1957.
