Humble Island (from English humble , 'modest, poor, simple' ) is a small and rocky island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . In Arthur Harbor on the southwest coast of Anvers Island , it is 600 m southeast of Norsel Point .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey surveyed the island in 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it that way in 1956 because it is not particularly visible between Litchfield Island and the south coast of Anvers Island.
