In this and Mergentheimer Strasse, a number of apartment buildings were built on the west bank of the Main. Based on the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973, 14 high-quality apartment buildings in this area were entered in the Bavarian Monument List. In the 20th century, the Nikolausberg south of Leistenstrasse was also built on with villas and houses of student associations .
