The Jeffrey rock is a small island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately northeast of Janus Island , southeast of DeLaca Island and 2.5 km southwest of Amsler Island and just as far west of the Palmer station .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names adopted the local name for the island in 2014. The further naming background has not been passed down.
