Shi Xie
Shì Xiè ( Chinese 士 燮 , Vietnamese Si Nhiêp , * 137 ; † 226 ) was a Chinese provincial governor of the Han dynasty .
He served in the Imperial Chancellery under Emperor Huan's government , but gave up this post and went to live with his father in Wu Prefecture in Yang Province. After his father's death, Shi Xie was appointed governor of Jiao Province, the southernmost outpost of the Han Empire, which stretched into what is now Tonkin . In 210 Shi Xie submitted to the warlord Sun Quan . After his death in 226, the province was divided and Shi Xie's sons Shi Zhi and Shi Hui rose up against the new governors Lu Dai and Chen Si sent by Sun Quan . They were assassinated and the Shi family no longer played a role in the government.
