Shiba banwuqi
Shiba banwuqi ( Chinese 十八 般 兵器 ) is the name for the 18 classic weapons of Shaolin martial arts .
In reality, a far greater number of weapons were used, but the number 18 is considered a sacred number and therefore 18 main weapons (corresponding to the 18 hands of Buddha's disciples) were determined. The following are the standard weapons of Shaolin :
