Shibazhan
The "community Shibazhan the Oroqen " ( Chinese 十八站鄂伦春族乡 , Pinyin Shíbāzhàn Èlúnchūnzú Xiang ) is a nationality community in the county Tahe the administrative district of Great Hinggan Mountains in northeast China province of Heilongjiang . In Chinese literature and on the Internet is the community often called "Oroqenische Nationality Municipality Shibazhan" ( 十八站鄂伦春民族乡 , Shíbāzhàn Elunchun Minzu Xiang ) or "nationality community Shibazhan the Oroqen" ( 十八站鄂伦春族民族乡 , Shíbāzhàn Èlúnchūnzú Mínzú Xiāng ). "Shibazhan the Oroqen Township" is its name on the county government's website. Shibazhan has an area of 2534 km² and around 23,000 inhabitants (end of 2009), of which only 5407 are permanent residents (2007). Shibazhan is bordered by Tahe Township to the west , Yixiken Township to the north, and Baiyinna of the Oroqen Township in Huma County to the east . The Huma He flows through the municipality from west to east over a length of 54 kilometers.
Oroqen
In 2012 there were 567 Oroqen residents , 82% of whom lived in Oroqen Xin Village. Shibazhan is one of the traditional settlement areas of the Kumarqen (Kumartschen), a subgroup of the Oroqen. The Oroqen are - next to the Evenks - one of the two northern Tungusian peoples of China.
Administrative structure
Shibazhan is made up of six villages. These are:
- Village Shibazhan the Han (十八站汉族村), center, seat of the municipal government;
- Chuangye Village (创业 村);
- Fendou village (奋斗 村);
- Oroqen Xin Village (鄂伦春 族 新村);
- Xingjian Village (兴建 村);
- Yongfeng Village (永丰 村).
