Shigemitsu Egawa ( Japanese 江川 重 光 , Egawa Shigemitsu ; born January 31, 1966 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Egawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Honda FC in 1984 and played in the top league, the Japan Soccer League . For the club, he completed 104 first division games. In 1991 he moved to league competitor Toyota Motors (Nagoya Grampus Eight). For the club he completed 57 first division games. In 1995 he moved to the second division ( Japan Football League ) Vissel Kobe . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 57 games. In 1997 he ended his playing career.

National team

Egawa was appointed to the squad of the Japanese national futsal team in 1989 and was used at the 1989 Futsal World Cup .
