Shíkōng qiútú ( Chinese 时空 囚徒 ) is a Manhua web series by Bai Xiao that has been published since 2015. The vampire action series was adapted as an anime for Japanese television in 2016 under the title Bloodivores .

content

When humanity was struck by a strange disease that made its victims sleepless and ultimately frenzied, an antidote was developed. Although this fought the disease, it turned those treated into vampires - it can affect the lust for the blood of the people around them. In order to control them, all of the bloodivores are given a collar, which the police calls as soon as they lose control of their lust for blood.

As the son of a vampire and a human woman, Mi Liu is special and is known as the "child of peace" because of the hope associated with him. But when he became a teenager, he cares little about this hope and commits crimes with friendly vampires. He is caught in a bank robbery with Anji, Lee Shin and Cheng Fon and is soon sentenced to death for the fatalities in the robbery - although he and his cronies don't know how the people in the bank died. While being transported to prison, they are kidnapped, faking their deaths, and waking up in a warehouse with many other prisoners. All have been given guns and instructed that their death sentences have been overturned but that they must stay here and survive. The ribbon around their necks can explode their heads if they misbehave, and shortly afterwards monsters are unleashed on them. Mi Liu and his friends are among the few who can survive this first attack.
