Shin'ya Inoue (film editor)
Shin'ya Inoue ( Japanese 井上 親 弥 , Inoue Shin'ya ), also known under the reading Chikaya Inoue (born before 1961) is a Japanese film editor .
life and work
Shin'ya Inoue was responsible for editing more than 70 film projects from 1961 to 1979 inclusive . In 1970 he was part of the Tora editing team ! Torah! Torah! and was nominated for the Oscar in the category Best Editing with his colleagues Pembroke J. Herring and James E. Newcom . The American Cinema Editors also nominated the three for the Eddie Award.
