Shin'ya Mitsuoka ( Japanese 光 岡 眞 矢 , Mitsuoka Shin'ya ; born April 22, 1976 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Mitsuoka learned to play soccer on the school team at Nihon University Fujisawa High School . He signed his first contract with the Yokohama Wings in 1995 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1997 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . For the club he completed 16 first division games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . For the club he completed 26 first division games. In 2001 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 28 games. In 2003 he moved to third division Sagawa Express Tokyo . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
