Shin'ya Uehara ( Japanese 上原 慎 也 Uehara Shin'ya ; born September 29, 1986 in Okinawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Uehara learned to play football on the college team at Okinawa University . He signed his first contract in 2009 with Consadole Sapporo (today: Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of the 2011 season, the club rose to the J1 League . At the end of the 2012 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2016 he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. For the club, he completed 176 league games. In 2018 he moved to the second division Ehime FC . For the club he completed 12 league games. In 2019 he moved to league rivals FC Ryukyu .
