Shinji Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 伸 二 Kobayashi Shinji ; born August 24, 1960 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.
Career
Kobayashi learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimabara Commercial High School and the university team at Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Mazda in 1983 . In 1987 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club, he completed 40 first division games. At the end of 1992 he ended his career as a football player.
