Coordinates: 27 ° 25 ′ S , 117 ° 53 ′ E The Shire of Cue is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 13,623 km² and has less than 200 inhabitants (2016).
Cue is located in the center of the state on the Great Northern Highway about 540 kilometers northeast of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Cue , where about 180 inhabitants live (2016).

The Cue Council has seven members. They are elected by all residents of the Shire. Cue is not divided into wards. The chairman of the council (Shire President) is also recruited from among the councilors.
