Coordinates: 32 ° 29 ′ S , 118 ° 16 ′ E The Shire of Kondinin is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 7376 km² and has about 900 inhabitants (2016).
Kondinin is located in the western Australian "wheat belt" in the southeast of the state about 235 km east of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Kondinin, where about 230 inhabitants live (2016).

The Kondinin Council has nine members. They are elected by all residents of the LGA. Kondinin is not divided into districts. The Council Chairman and President des Shires are also recruited from among the Councilor.
