Coordinates: 33 ° 59 ′  S , 115 ° 46 ′  E The Shire of Nannup is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 2,935 km² and has about 1300 inhabitants (2016).

Nannup is located on the state's southwest coast about 250 kilometers south of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Nannup, where about 600 inhabitants live (2016).

The Nannup Council has eight members. The councilors are elected by the residents of the three wards (three each from North and Central and two from the South Ward). The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
