Coordinates: 29 ° 26 ′ S , 116 ° 17 ′ E The Shire of Perenjori is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 8,300 km² and has about 600 inhabitants (2016).
Perenjori is located in the west of the state about 280 kilometers north of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Perenjori, where about 200 inhabitants live (2016).

The Perenjori Council has nine members. The councilors are elected by the residents of the five wards (three from Perenjori, two each from Bowgada and Latham / Caron and one each from Caron and Maya Ward). The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
