Coordinates: 33 ° 34 ′ S , 117 ° 26 ′ E The Shire of Woodanilling is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 1129 km² and has about 400 inhabitants (2016).
Woodanilling is located in the southwest of the state about 230 kilometers southeast of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Woodanilling , where about 175 residents live (2016).

The Woodanilling Council has six members. They are elected by all residents of the LGA. Woodanilling is not divided into districts. The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
