Shock is a steel roller coaster from the manufacturer Maurer from the model X-Car-Coaster in Rainbow MagicLand ( Valmontone , Lazio , Italy ), which was opened on June 24, 2011.
The individual cars, each with space for six people (three rows of two people), are accelerated to 100 km / h within 2.5 seconds using linear motors (LSM). After driving over the top hat, there is a loop in which the passengers at the highest point do not stand on their heads, but straight. The element, which can only be found in a similar form in Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit , cannot be counted as an inversion. This is followed by a near-ground, over-sloping curve with subsequent block brake.
