Orchestra / club

The orchestra was founded as a brass band on October 27, 1982 by five residents of Kray . After first public appearances in the region, they later played at numerous events all over Germany. In 1994 the brass band became an orchestra with the addition of a woodwind group . The FMK has become an integral part of Essen's cultural life, from shooting festivals to carnival events. The musical program is supplemented by shows and audience animations.
