origin

They emerged in the USA in the middle of the 20th century from English and Belgian carrier pigeons and English homerasses, as well as English owls. Until 1953 they were shown at exhibitions under the name Show Pen Homer. With the establishment of an independent club, they were renamed American Show Racer.
