Shrirampur is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra . The city emerged from the opposite village of Belapur .

The city is part of the Ahmednagar district . Shrirampur has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 33 wards . It had 89,282 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 44,842 were men and 44,440 were women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 67%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 85.90%, well above the national average.

Shrirampur is well connected to other parts of the country by rail and road. The city has a central location in western Maharashtra.
