Shuckburgh is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon . It lies between Chevallier in the northwest and Hooke in the southeast southwest of the Lacus Temporis . Its crater wall is badly eroded, the inside is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the English mathematician and astronomer George Shuckburgh-Evelyn .
