Shunling Mausoleum (Yang Shi)

The Shunling Mausoleum ( Chinese  顺 陵 , Pinyin Shùnlíng ) is the grave of Yang Shi, mother of Empress Wu Zetian (武则天; 624–705) in Xianyang in the Chinese province of Shaanxi . The stone figures of people and animals - especially his lions - are famous.

The Shunling Mausoleum has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (1-172) since 1961 .
