Shunta Nagai ( Japanese 永 井 俊 太 , Nagai Shunta ; born July 12, 1982 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
career
Nagai played soccer on the team at Soga Middle School in Chiba . He then moved to the neighboring community of Funabashi to the Funabashi High School, which has already produced several professional footballers. After graduating from high school, he was signed by Kashiwa Reysol in 2001 , loaned to Mito Hollyhock in 2004/5 and to Ehime FC in 2009 , where he ended his playing career.
With the Japanese national team , he qualified for the 2001 World Youth Championship .
