Siachen Muztagh is a remote mountain range in the southeastern Karakoram .
The border between India and China runs across this chain. Southwest of the mountain range is the Siachen Glacier , which is one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions. To the west of the Siachen Glacier are the Saltoro Mountains , over which the Line of Control runs between the Pakistani autonomous region of Gilgit-Baltistan and the Indian Union territory of Ladakh . This not exactly defined border line meets the border between India and China at Sia Kangri . The Siachen Muztagh is bounded in the north by the Shaksgam river valley and in the north-west by the Urdok glacier .
The highest peak in the Siachen Muztagh is the 7462 m high Teram Kangri I .
