Sibylle Bock

Sibylle Bock (born May 4, 1954 in Potsdam ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was briefly a member of the Brandenburg state parliament in 2014 .

Sibylle Bock fled to Lower Saxony with her family in 1960: Her father wanted to avoid political persecution in the GDR. Bock studied economics at the University of Göttingen with a diploma, then at the University of Hanover with a thesis on instruments of financial equalization in the service of regional income adjustment in the EC, she became a Dr. rer. pole. PhD. In addition, she also completed a law degree, which she completed with the second state examination in Munich. She has been working as a lawyer in Strausberg and Müncheberg since 1995 .

She has been a member of Strausberg's city council since 1998, currently as deputy parliamentary group leader. In July 2014 she replaced Susanne Melior in the state parliament. She is no longer represented in the state parliament elected in 2014.
