Sibylle (also Sibille, Sibylla), Margravine of Burgau (born August 26, 1557 in Kleve , † 1628 (loc. Cit. 1627) in Günzburg ) was the daughter of Duke Wilhelm the Rich from his marriage to Archduchess Maria of Austria . After her brother Johann Wilhelm became Duke of Jülich-Kleve-Berg in 1592 and went mad, she became the opponent of her sister-in-law Jakobe von Baden at the Düsseldorf court, achieved her imprisonment and was probably also responsible for her violent death in 1597. In 1601 she married her cousin, Margrave Karl von Burgau . The couple moved into the residence of Günzburg in 1610. There the margravine maintained a feudal court even after the death of her husband (1618). She worked primarily as a music patron.

The margravine and her husband rested in the Capuchin Church in Günzburg until it was torn down; today her remains are in the Sankt-Martins-Kirche in Günzburg.
