Sidi Moro Sanneh

Sidi Moro Sanneh (rarely also Seedy Moro Sanneh ) (born December 2, 1947 in Bathurst ) is an economist and former Foreign Minister of Gambia .

Life

Sanneh studied and worked in the United States , particularly in urban development. In 1977 he entered the Gambia civil service. He later became an advisor to the United Nations and worked from 1992 to 2002 as a director at the African Development Bank . He became Foreign Minister of The Gambia on October 14, 2004 and served in that position until March 24, 2005 when he moved to the position of Minister of Industry, Trade and Employment during a cabinet change.

On October 24, 2005, he was replaced in this position by Musa Gibril Bala Gaye .

In 2007 Sanneh went into exile in the USA and has lived in Virginia ever since.
