Siegfried Georgii

Siegfried Georgii (* August 2, 1900 ; † unknown) was a German medic and National Socialist functionary with the rank of SS-Oberführer .

Siegfried Georgii received his doctorate in 1927 at the University of Tübingen with the dissertation on the so-called 'umbilical adenomas' and their subsequent conditions on the basis of three relevant observations on the Dr. med. He lived in Munich and joined the NSDAP ( membership number 865.199) and the SS (SS number 28.212). While he initially got a job as an assistant at the midwifery school of the University Women's Clinic in Munich, he made a relatively quick career in the SS. In 1932 he became the Untersturmführer. In 1933 he was appointed Hauptsturm- and then SS-Sturmbannführer . In 1934 he became Obersturmbahn- and then SS-Standartenführer and on April 20, 1935 he was promoted to SS-Oberführer .

Georgi worked as an SS doctor, took over the management of the medical department at the Reichsführer SS in February 1934 and was awarded the SS Ring of Honor. He was the liaison to the National Socialist Medical Association .
