Siegfried II of Stade

Siegfried II of Stade (died January 6, 1037 ) was Count von Stade .

Life

He was a son of Count Heinrich von Stade and Judith von Rheinfranken.

Siegfried was first mentioned for the year 990 by Thietmar von Merseburg . In 994 he escaped from captivity with Normans to Harsefeld Castle . After his brother's death, Siegfried became Count of Stade in 1016.
