Siegfried Kokail

Siegfried Kokail (born March 1, 1932 in Fohnsdorf ; † December 23, 2000 in Knittelfeld ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and was a member of the National Council from 1975 to 1990 .

Kokail visited after the elementary school , the middle school and was in 1946 in mining deals. He worked as a chipper until 1971 and then worked as a manager of the miners' insurance company.

Kokail was initially politically active as a youth functionary in the Socialist Youth and between 1948 and 1956 belonged to the company youth in the Fohnsdorf mining industry. He was also a member of the central works council of VÖEST -Alpine Montan AG, a member of the central board and the board of the metal-mining-energy union and a district committee member of the SPÖ Upper Murtal . Between 1964 and 1969 he held the office of deputy chairman of the Austrian Mining Insurance Company, after which he was its chairman between 1969 and 1971. Kokail represented the SPÖ in the National Council between November 4, 1975 and November 4, 1990.
