Siegfried Magiera
Siegfried Magiera (* 1941) is a German legal scholar.
Life
Magiera studied law and political science at the Universities of Kiel , Freiburg im Breisgau , Berlin and Kansas / USA. After the two state exams, he made a Master of Arts in Political Science at the University of Kansas; later his doctorate he became Dr. iur. and completed his habilitation in public law at the University of Kiel. Magiera then worked as a professor of public law at the University of Cologne , before receiving the Jean Monnet chair for public law, in particular international and European law, at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer in 1984 .
