Siegfried Sack (Provost)

Siegfried Sack (also Sifrid Sagk ; † after 1436) was provost of Berlin .

Life

He came from a line of the Sack family , possibly from Franconia , the home of the Brandenburg electors.

Siegfried Sack was possibly mentioned as provost as early as 1423. On November 25, 1436, he reached an agreement with the councilors of Berlin and Cölln on financial claims that he had made on the Franciscan monastery in Berlin and the Dominican monastery in Cölln. No further information is known about him.
