Siegfried von Bokholt (councilor, 1256)

Siegfried von Bokholt was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Siegfried von Bokholt was the son of Lübeck councilor Heinrich von Bokholt . He was a councilor in Lübeck from 1256 to 1276.

Of his four sons, the eldest Siegfried became Lübeck citizen and in turn father of councilor Siegfried von Bokholt (councilor, 1290) and of Lübeck councilor Heinrich von Bokholt, who was effective in the 14th century .

Of the other three younger sons, Gerhard became councilor in Lübeck, Heinrich as Heinrich II. Bochholt, Bishop of Lübeck and Johann as Johannes II. Of Bokholt, Bishop of Schleswig .

He lived in the house property Mengstrasse 6 in central Lübeck.
