Sieghard Pawlik

Sieghard Pawlik (born June 23, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German engineer and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending secondary school in Berlin, Pawlik completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter and welder. He then took part in evening courses, continued his education at the Beuth School and finally graduated as a process engineer. He first worked as an electric and gas fusion welder for a Berlin pipeline construction company. In 1961 he switched to Hoechst AG in Frankfurt as an engineer .

Political party

Pawlik is a member of the SPD.

MP

Pawlik was elected to the city ​​council of Frankfurt am Main in 1972. He was a member of the Hessian state parliament from 1978 to 2003 and was temporarily chairman of the committee for women, labor and social order. He was elected in the state elections in Hesse in 1983 in the constituency of Frankfurt am Main I and otherwise on the state list of his party. Since 2011 he has been a member of the Frankfurt City Council again.

Honors

In 1990 Sieghard Pawlik was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
